DESCRIPTION

It looks like a Stearman but this is convertible N3N-3 made by the US Naval Aircraft Factory in Philadelphia. It is an all metal design, with fabric wings and control surfaces. The N3N is also designed to be easily accessed for maintenance.

This plane had the floats rebuilt in the 90s. All float attach points are on wings and fuselage. Snow skis attach on existing wheel axles. Existing hoisting sling and lifting wires are permanently attached to aircraft. It only takes about 4 - 5 hours to convert to the floats or skis.

Kits also available - complete disassembled full plane.

Plane is based in Toledo, OH. Contact me to schedule a visit!
